I had the opportunity to inaugurate the Delhi edition and to visit the exhibition in person after such a long period of pandemic which blocked all activities in the world. We must be careful but at the same time push economic activity in the light of job creation and development.

“According to our experience, the textile industry mainly depends on imported machinery. There is a need to manufacture most Indian-made machines, especially in light of the current disruption in global logistics services. At the Ministry of Textiles, we are currently developing an incentive program for the manufacture of textile machinery in India. The approach is to encourage local innovation and at the same time invite leading manufacturers to set up local businesses. »
