Vietnam opens garment unit in An Giang province with Dutch investment

Vietnam recently opened a garment factory in An Giang province in the Mekong Delta with a Dutch investment worth VND253 billion ($10.6 million). The Specter An Giang Garment Technologies factory, whose construction began late last year, can produce 2 million products a year and create jobs for more than 1,200 people.

Specter began production in Vietnam over 10 years ago with joint ventures in Thai Binh province, followed by Nam Dinh and An Giang. With several years of operational experience in Vietnam, the company sees the country as a promising market, Danish Ambassador to Vietnam Nicolai Prytz was quoted as saying by a news agency.
